A trip to Blackpool Zoo

Evening :) Is it just me or do you end up feeling more tired after a weekend away than before you went? Haha! I spent the weekend in Blackpool, somewhere I quite like even though a lot of people say it is very run down. Saturday was spent shopping and on Sunday we visited Blackpool Zoo, its the first time I've been (well the first time I remember anyway, apparently I went as a young child) Anyway, I really enjoyed myself but spent way too much time there and my legs are still recovering from all that walking. I took a million photographs of all the beautiful animals and birds there and although I'm still working my way through them, cropping etc, here are a few of my favourites so far.

Saturated Canary Colouring Challenge

This is my very first blog post :) and I created this blog mainly to show the cards and other craft projects I have made/ will be making but also so I can enter Krista Smiths' colouring challenge over at http://saturatedcanary.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/coloring-challenge.html

So here is my first entry using the gorgeous digi stamp, Beach Pretty. I used my cameo to help me create this card, the beach background and frames are from the silhouette store, the sentiment is done using Cameo sketch pens, and I cut out the digi using the print and cut functions. It's a little hard to tell but the blue background is glitter card so it has a lovely sparkle.

For Beach pretty the promarker colours I used are:

Hair: Walnut, henna, and Cocoa.
Skin: Coral, vanilla, and sunkissed pink.
Swimming costume: Turquoise and Frosted Jade.
Scarf: Yellow and Lemon.
